Torpids, Day 1

Some shots of the Isis during the race. Unfortunately, the race looks pretty sedate in these pictures. Partly because you can't see the boats moving, and partly because by the time they get to the boat house island, a lot of the boats have bumped out, and aren't racing anymore.




Inside the Balliol boat house are some interesting charts that plot how all the colleges did in bumps over a number of years.



And along with the charts are the actual oars crews received over the years when they won blades.
