St Mary's Church

Some shots of St Mary's Church on the High that I missed in the last post:

Carvings inside the ceiling of the entranceway to the church

Torpids begin tomorrow, and the weather is predicted to be sunny, so I'll probably put up a lot of photos from that by the weekend.

28 February

Mammoth post today: I have an hour to kill between lectures on Tuesdays, so I took a walk up the High Street, and then around the colleges behind it.

Magdalen College

Two shots of the High Street:

Catte Street. St Mary's Church on the left, All Souls College on the right, and the domed building is the Radcliffe Camera.

And yet more snaps of the Exam Schools (this is where most of my lectures are, so I'm often around the building):

Christ Church Meadow and the Isis

Christ Church meadow (I couldn't find the cows this afternoon):

The Isis from the boat house island:

And I couldn't resist a shot of the sign for Rose Lane

Exeter House

A few shots of Exeter House. I live in the semi-basement of the white building that is barely visible on the left of the first picture.

And a few shots of my room, starting with a crude panaromic view.
